Field Service Engineer – Fanuc Robotics Specialist
What You'll Do:
Join a dynamic team as a Field Service Engineer, where you'll diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Fanuc equipment on-site at customer locations, often with short notice. Assignments may include long hours, weekends, and holiday shifts to ensure critical repairs are completed. Work directly with customers, union personnel, and other Fanuc employees to collaboratively resolve complex robotic and system issues.
Your role will also involve impeccable documentation, including Field Service Reports detailing the problem, corrective actions, and associated costs. You'll manage a well-maintained service toolkit and keep daily communication with your Service Supervisor and Dispatch team to ensure seamless operations, customer satisfaction, and timely updates.
What You Bring:
- Expertise in diagnosing and repairing Fanuc robots, controllers, and peripheral equipment, including RJ3iB, R30iA, and R30iB platforms.
- Ability to interpret electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics with ease.
- Proficiency in PLC ladder logic and advanced troubleshooting techniques.
- Technical writing and communication skills to clearly document and report activities.
- A proven background in Fanuc Robotics integration, installation, or service (5+ years preferred).
- A commitment to customer satisfaction, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently at customer sites.
- Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science or equivalent technical education is preferred.
